The VetMedWear Gown is our most popular E-Collar alternative for protecting abdominal wounds. Our one size style gown is designed to fit cats, dogs, and rabbits of all shapes and sizes.
Fabrics
The VetMedWear gown is available in two types of fabrics: durable and robust. Both fabrics are made from 100% pure cotton and are breathable, hypoallergenic, and washable. The durable fabric is available in a mix of colors and is slightly elastic. The robust fabric is only available in teal green and is non-elastic which provides better resistance towards wear and tear.
Size Guide
Step 1: Ensure your pet is standing straight on a hard surface.
Step 2: Measure the distance between the centre of the front leg to the centre of the back hip as indicated in the diagram below.
Step 3: Match the measurement to the size guide below.
Before Going for a Walk
The VetMedWear Gown is designed to allow females to perform all physiological functions without removing the gown. For male animals, the gown must be partially removed from the back legs by untying the last two strings, rolling the fabric forward, and retying the strings around the body.
Colors
XXS-L come in a random mix of 5 lighter colors: teal green, yellow, pink, lime green and orange. Sizes XL-XXXL come in a random mix of 6 darker colors: teal green, green, burgundy navy blue, bottle green, and brown.
Adhesive Hygienic Pad
Sizes XXS-L include an adhesive hygienic pad to protect the fabric from discharge.
